We are now one month away from our favorite day of the year…our annual Caps N’ Taps Night of Darkness! This is not a tap list for the faint of heart.  We’ll have an entire board of big, special, delicious dark ales and lots of complimentary chocolate (it is Valentine’s Day weekend, afterall).  Beers tap at noon on Saturday, February 16^th and will be pouring all day.  Tap list below:

Did you know that Logsdon Farmhouse Ales, winner of Small Oregon Brewery of the Year at the 2018 Oregon Beer Awards, moved to Washougal, WA? What better way to welcome our new neighbors to the Camas/Washougal area, than by having a meet the brewer night at Caps N’ Taps!

On Thursday, January 24^th from 5-8pm, Logsdon Farmhouse Ales will be taking over half of the Caps N’ Taps draft list (list below).  Stop by to sample some award-winning beers and to meet head brewer Shilpi Halemane.

Draft List for the Jan 24th Meet the Brewer Night:
-Hell & Oats: Kellerbier/lager
-Urban Encore: 5.0% Saison
-India Standard Time: IPA brewed with Sach Trois yeast and hopped and dry hopped with Citra, Azacca, Amarillo and Rakau hops
-Dry English Stout:  4.4% session stout, roasty, chocolate and bone dry
-Golden Raven: Mixed culture barrel aged farmhouse beer aged in casks a former sour raspberry beer was aged in.  Lots of fruit character without being aged on fruit.
-2017 Deep River Blues:  Mixed culture farmhouse ale aged in stainless with organic Hood River blueberries.
-There Will be Brett:  Blend of higher ABV Seizoen Bretta, kriek and spontanous beer.
-Funk Soul Bretta: Seizoen Bretta aged in casks that formerly held Peche n Brett.  Lots of peach/stone fruit aromas and flavors
-Spontane Syrah: Spontaneous ale (“Lambic” base, pilsner malt, raw wheat, aged hops) held overnight in our loft coolship, then barrel aged for six months in neutral wine barrels before adding 100 lbs of syrah grapes per barre and aged an additional 6-8 months)

 

Our theme for Monday trivia on January 21st will be… Saturday Night Live!
-The fun starts at 7pm

-Teams of more than 4 players are not eligible for nightly prizes

Caps N’ Taps Monday Night Trivia starts up again on Monday, January 14th at 7:00pm. (No trivia on Monday, January 7th).  The theme on the 14th will be “craft beer trivia”!  Bring along your favorite beer nerd to help ensure a victory.
